Garment Care Guide
Your VAGU garment is built to last. With the right care, our heavyweight 200gsm cotton will maintain its structure, softness, and shape for years. Follow these guidelines to preserve the quality of your investment.
Machine Wash Cold
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the outer surface and preserve colour depth.
Air Dry Only
Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid tumble drying — high heat can shrink heavyweight cotton and compromise the structured silhouette.
Low Heat if Needed
If ironing is required, use a low heat setting and iron inside out. Do not iron directly over any printed or embroidered areas.
Fold, Don’t Hang
Store folded rather than on a hanger to prevent the shoulders from stretching over time. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

About 200gsm Heavyweight Cotton
Our garments are constructed from 200gsm heavyweight cotton — a premium fabric weight that is denser and more structured than standard t-shirt cotton. This weight gives the garment its distinctive drape and durability. With proper care, heavyweight cotton actually improves with age — becoming softer while retaining its shape and structure. Avoid high heat at all stages of care to preserve these qualities.
Maintaining the Oversized Fit
The oversized silhouette of your VAGU garment is intentional and architectural. To maintain the intended fit and drape, always air dry rather than tumble dry, and store folded rather than hung. Avoid washing at high temperatures, which can cause the fabric to contract and alter the silhouette.
